A traditional British brass band in the heart of the East Berkshire countryside, Waltham St. Lawrence Band was founded in 1886, and continues to make a significant contribution to local events. We are a non-contesting band, open to players of all levels of ability who want to make music for pleasure and entertain the public. See the About Us page for more on the band's history and aims.

German Exchange
Under an agreement with the German band Musikverein Friesheim (MVF), from Erftstadt, near Cologne, our bands exchange visits every other year. Waltham's last visit to Germany was in June 2017 (read all about it), while MVF last visited us early in June 2019.
