New players are welcome to join the band at any time, and visitors are welcome, too. Currently we have a specific vacancy for a Bass or Tenor Trombone. Come along for a blow (see Rehearsals for details) and see how you like us. Use the Contacts page form to enquire further.
German Exchange:
Under an agreement with the German band Musikverein Friesheim (MVF), from Erfstadt, near Cologne, our bands visit each other every other year. MVF's visit in July 2010 included a wedding and an Elvis concert (read the full report). In 2013, Waltham are due to be visiting Germany. You can click here to view a collection of photos from WSL Band's visit to Germany in June 2008.

As well as raising money for charities such as Action for Children through concerts, the band sponsored a child in India via a World Vision programme in 2003-2011. Click here to view the project's closing report. We aim to undertake another sponsorship project in the future
