October 2009: Through World Vision India, the band sponsors a young Indian called Prodip and his community, under the Malda Area Development Programme.
We recently received the latest annual report from Prodip; he tells us that he is unfortunately unable to attend school at the moment, because he is having to help look after sick relatives, but his own health is satisfactory.
Prodip tells us that World Vision has helped his community by providing a digger, and that a well has been dug to provide the village with safe drinking water.
